 Keira L. Schwartz
Keira L. Schwartz has been named by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Top Divorce Lawyers in the Washington Metropolitan area. Ms. Schwartz has been a guest on CNN Business Radio's "Tomorrow's Business," BBC World-TV, Cox Cable's "Law Weekly," and has been quoted in an article on prenuptial agreements on Women's Financial Network. She has lectured on adoption, rehabilitative alimony, updates on domestic relations law, prenuptial agreements, and children's medical records for the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Arlington Bar Association, and Lorman Education Services. Ms. Schwartz has taught as an adjunct professor of criminal and family law at Northern Virginia Community College, and was a research associate for the Maryland Bar Association, where she conducted a nationwide survey on the practice of family law in the nation's courts so that Maryland could restructure its family law tribunals. Ms. Schwartz served on the Community Initiative on Youth Violence for Fairfax County, which consisted of a panel of school and community activists who structured programs aimed at reducing criminal acts committed by juveniles. She is a member of the Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Washington State, and District of Columbia bars. Ms. Schwartz is a Neutral Case Evaluator for the Fairfax County Circuit Court. Ms. Schwartz received her B.A. degree from Mary Washington College and her J.D. degree from Regent University School of Law. Prior to founding Schwartz & Spratt, PLC, Ms. Schwartz worked with The Lewis Law Firm, in Washington, D.C.
